"Horrible customer service, drivers that are pushy and dictate how the CUSTOMER will do business."
No rep ever comes to my place of business. They leave their dirty work to the drivers. They have forgotten who the customer is. They will dictate how customers will (comply) to their un-ability to accept how they want to do business. We begged them to let us out of our contract and they refused because they have burnt so many bridges with customers, they are grasping to get ever un-honest penny they can. They are not a stand-up company.

"Contact terms and entire company are a scam!"
I really wish I had read the reviews before signing their contract. Unfortunately, their rep was able to coerce us by showing us how much more bang for our buck we would get by switching to them. I take full responsibility for not reading all the fine print, and doing my job by researching them, but I don't want anyone else to get duped. The prices drastically went up immediately, my bills tripled from what they were, and when I tried to cancel, I was informed I had signed a 5 year contract! I don't know how I missed THAT, but now we are screwed for the next 4 years. Please avoid this company!

"Deceiving contract and false claims from sales persons"
Our company uses Cintas at 7 locations in our company. We had first signed up with Cintas because the sales person was quite convincing. We were told that such items such as soap dispensing mechanisms would be installed for free and told us that the services they provided could be stopped at anytime. In ONE of our locations we decided that we did not need the services that Cintas provided (mops, towels, cleaning solutions.etc). Little did we know that in a couple months we would be facing their legal team asking for " damages" for $8,000. Their reasoning is that we owe them for the money we WOULD have paid during the life of the contract.
Please be careful. There is a sentence in their contract that says "* This agreement is effective as of the date of execution for a term of 60 months from the date of execution for a term of 60 months from the date of installation"

Copied underneath is an email sent to us from the lawyers working for Cintas.

"I am unaware of any verbal agreement you allegedly had with a sales representative. Customers are typically given the option of changing the quantity of items serviced however, that does not allow them to break the agreement by not paying for service that was provided or cancelling service completely.

Xxxxxx Bakery is behind on payments and owes Cintas $960.70 for services provided. Your outstanding payment has triggered the early termination of the agreement and Cintas is seeking damages for that as well in the amount of $7,532.17 (excl HST) as per clause 7 and 10 of the attached contract.

I encourage you to give me a call using the number below to discuss how we can resolve this matter without further escalation.

Kind Regards,

"Bad Service"
This company is the worst and they don't care if you know it. I ordered 2 shirts, and it has taken them a month just to deliver them. Never again!

"Cintas Is A Bully (Ground Control MMA v Cintas/David V Goliath)"
I'm a cofounder of a mixed martial arts facility named Ground Control. We have 5 locations all together. We attempted to use Cintas for one of our locations. I highly recommend against it. Here's why;

If you own a small to medium size business do not do business with Cintas. We were told their contract is a formality, and we could order on an "as-needed basis". They sent us products that we did not order and also charged us for products that we did not receive. When I reached out to our sales rep he was unresponsive and would not remedy the issues. It took several months and emails before an account manager named Caitlynne Edwards reached out. She also would not remedy the problem and attempted to have continue to do business with them after Cintas clearly breached the actual language in the contract, which we were told not to be concerned about because we could order as an add-needed basis. In fact, we did order on an as needed basis, however, Cintas would still continue to send products we did not order and would not pick them up, nor remove them from our bill.

After forwarded upon request their unanswered emails and proving their breach, Cintas has now hired an expensive law firm to threaten legal action.

We are now looking forward to our day in Court. If anyone else has had a similar experience, or would like to get involved in a class-action suit against Cintas for unethical business practices, we would love to get involved.

Sincerely,
Antony M.

I work at Just4dogs a grooming company in downtown where we use a ton of towels everyday and David never fails to come every Wednesday to drop off and pick up towels and he makes sure we have enough to last us! He's always friendly and super thoughtful! I would recommend!

"Deceitful practices"
Their contract is for 5 years, no way an in store employee sees that in the fine print

They charge for the uniforms being used in addition to the ones they're washing (unlike other companies)

They often billed for uniforms not returned even though their system is far from perfect (eg we received other companies uniforms)

"Anything to generate an invoice"
We agreed to a month to month contract. Of course, over the course of Covid pandemic, our salesperson left. When we became disgruntled with paying for uniforms to be cleaned and having them return weekly DIRTY - we notified Cintas that we were cancelling. Then they generated a contract I did NOT SIGN.
Beware, beware, beware and document everything. Lucky for us - when they forged my initials, it is NOTHING like my real initials!

“We have to remember that companies are operated by people and sometimes the people don't have the company's best interest at heart. There are some cities for all companies where there is great service and also, there are cities where bad service is the norm. The difference is the managers and whether they care or not. I suggest you find and uniform and linen managed services company such as, "Uniform Bright", who can help you with any needs you may have. There specialty is helping to prematurely and legally cancel a contract, negotiating a new one, taking you out to bid, historical bill analysis, managed services & an expert witness in the event of court or arbitration. They are not lawyers but they know how the industry works and can help you to navigate the pitfalls that are associated with deceptive practices and one-sided agreements. If dealing with a uniform and linen rental company has been a headache for you and you no longer want to deal with them, you should talk with your lawyer or hire an expert.”
